Chairman LARRY GORMAN

LARRY GORMAN is the Senior Director of Property Systems Developement for Choice Hotels International.

He graduated from Oregon State University with a BS in Industrial Manufacturing & Engineering.  He lives in Anthem and has a son.

1st Vice Chairman - CARRIE ANNE RAUCH

Carrie Rauch was raised in Rhode Island and moved to Arizona as a teenager where she attended ASU.  She is the mother of 4 busy boys and a member of a successful real estate group based in Anthem, Az.  Carrie and her husband Bryan also own Cornerstone Homes and Land, a real estate investment and improvement company.  

   Carrie holds numerous volunteer positions in her community - Fundraising for Anthem PTA, Committee member in the Scout Troop, and Missions Team member for Arizona Hills Community Church.  Providing and encouraging community service is a top priority for her family.

   She has been a lifelong Republican and took on a serious interest in politics at age 13 (although, she is starting her boys much younger than that).  They have already spent plenty of time hanging political literature and working at the polls arguing with the Democrats!

  Carrie has served as Treasurer for a successful State House of Representatives campaign, Vice President of Daisy Mountain Republican Women, State Committeeman in 2004 and 2006, Secretary and 2nd Vice Chairman of LD-6, and is currently serving as Majesty Precinct Captain and 1st Vice Chairman of LD-6.

Secretary HORST KRAUS

Horst Kraus is a successful entrepreneur and owns and operates Kraus Investments LC, among a number of other real estate holdings and Shangri-La Water Works, a licensed private water utility, and Shangri-La WWTP, a private waste water reclamation plant and EPAK & Associates Inc., a lease hold and financial service corporation.
  • Horst's political volunteering includes:
  • State Committee man in 2002, 2004 and 2006
  •  Delegate to the National GOP Convention in 2004
  •  Elected Secretary LD-6 twice, and serves currently in that capacity
  •   Awarded GOP Volunteer of the Year for LD-6 in 2004  
  • Given the George F. Hixson Fellowship Award by Kiwanis International for outstanding community service.

    Treasurer CHRISTENA COLLINS

    Christena Collins is a happily married mother and grandmother.  She is a long-time resident of the Phoenix area and has been the bookkeeper/comptroller of a growing patio furniture company 1982.   She is thankful for the opportunity to become part of the political process.

    Senator David Braswell

    David Braswell has been the Chairman of the LD-6 Republicans for the past 3 years. He is an award-winning educator, leading researcher, devoted husband, and, most importantly, the father of three daughters - each of which is the reason for his longstanding commitment to the national education goal of Leaving No Child Behind.

    As the former founder and president of TeachMaster Technologies, Inc., and Vice-President of Education for PLATO Learning, Braswell has more than 26 years of experience in education and related research.
    He has spent over two decades designing and producing curriculum management software that has helped educators plan, design, and focus on standards-driven curriculum management and sound instructional decision-making, including the multi-product Standards ToolKit™ suite, Standards Record Keeping & Reporting™, and PLATO Polaris®. Educated at Western Carolina University, Braswell received a Bachelor of Science in Education with a K-12 Reading Certification in 1978, followed by a Master of Education in Administration in 1986.

    He has held teaching, building level and district level administrative positions in Georgia, North Carolina, South Dakota, and New Mexico.

    • Rep. Carl Seel

    Carl Seel is a small business owner who lives in the Moon Valley neighborhood in Arizona’s Sixth Legislative District.  He and his wife Jamie have been happily married for 12 years and they are the parents of three sons.

    In addition to his business, Carl is heavily involved in Republican politics.  A life-long Republican, Carl is the immediate past chairman of the PACyderm Coalition (a Reagan Republican organization), the current Assistant Sergeant-at-Arms of the Arizona Republican Party’s State Committee, an elected precinct committeeman, and a member of the Arizona Republican Assembly.

    Additionally, Carl is a member of the NRA and an active Minuteman, even serving as co-host of Minuteman Radio.  He is also active with groups like the Arizona Federation of Taxpayers (Americans for Prosperity) and frequents events at The Goldwater Institute.

    Carl and his family attend Scottsdale First Assembly Church.

    Rep. Amanda Reeve

    Amanda Reeve is a Paralegal for the law firm of Bryan Cave LLP.  She just finished Graduate School with a Degree in Environmental Technology Management from ASU.  Rep. Reeve was a 2000 Graduate of CSU Sacramento  with a Degree in Communication Studies, Public Relations
