After the 2006 election the District that has 67 Precincts weighed in with 69 elected PC’s in 27 of its precincts. Two of the precincts where the former captains had done their homework namely Cave Buttes and New River had its full contingent of PC’s in place and Captains elected. 42 precincts had no representation at all. That was when the “LD-6 Can Do Team”™ decided they need a tool that was easily understood to help grow the district. They created the visual “Elephant Stampede” ™ Display. Every time a new appointment is made, a white precinct turns red and grows to its full quota of PC’s and when that point is reached the elephant proudly carries a gold Star. Although the district has lost 3 elected PC’s that moved out of the area they have doubled their precinct committee men an increase of 100%.

67 Elephants represent 67 precincts. The white elephants are indeed “White Elephants” that means precincts without representation. The red elephants have PC’s and the goal is to turn all white elephants into red elephants.
The “LD-6 Can Do Team”™ is on the cutting edge of the Conservative movement to strengthen the Republican Party in Arizona and have been the leader in PC recruitment in Maricopa County.
